Tops & One Piece
Here at Gypsea Freedom we know how difficult finding the right bra size can be so here is the method we recommend for the best fit.
Measure Your Band Size
You should do this without a bra. To measure your band size, grab a measuring tape and measure yourself all the way around. From your back to under your bust - where the bra band usually sits. Make sure you’ve got the measuring tape firmly around you – not tight, just firm!
Once you’ve got the number in inches write it down, band sizes are usually even numbers, so if you measure an odd number, round it up to the nearest even number.
The inch you measure is your band size in US/UK sizing. To find your AUS band size, simply subtract 22. So if you measure a 34 inch your band size would be a AUS 12
Measure Your Cup Size
Now for your cup size. Measure the fullest part of your bust. You don’t have to pull the tape around too tight here, just make sure it’s flat. Once you’ve got the number write it down so you don’t forget.
Calculate!
Finally, use this very simple calculation: cup size – band size.
If your cup size is 39 inches and your band size is 34 inches, the difference is 5 inches which means you have an E cup - making your bra size a 34E.
- Five-inch difference = E
- Six-inch difference = F
- Seven-inch difference = G
- Eight-inch difference = H
It's that easy! Get measuring and give yourself the comfort and support you deserve!
